It is likely that most of what you have heard about warts is not really true. They are quite safe. Even the prettiest person can get one, two or three warts. It is better to learn about simple home remedies that will help you fight warts.
Warts are benign growths of the skin that tend to appear on the hands, elbows and knees. They occur when the human papilloma virus (HPV) often enters the top layer of the skin - the epidermis - through incisions or scratches. Children are generally more prone to developing warts than adults (this can be caused by a young and not yet strong immune system), yet they can appear at any age and, most annoyingly, are quite difficult to get rid of. But, as you know, nothing is impossible, especially with these home remedies that we invite you to get acquainted with.
1. Yeast powder
Mix the yeast powder with castor oil until a smooth paste forms, then apply the mixture to the wart and leave overnight. It is better to bandage the wart. The next morning, remove the bandage and repeat the procedure if necessary.
2. Baking soda
You can also try wetting the wart with wet baking soda. Dissolve the baking soda in the water and rinse the wart on your hands or feet. Wait for the baking soda water to dry and repeat this until the wart disappears.
3. Diet
Diet can affect and trigger the appearance of warts. Eat foods that boost your immune system, such as garlic, sweet potatoes, wholemeal bread, sunflower seeds and rice.
4. Garlic
Garlic contains two main elements that are responsible for the health of the body: allicin and diallyl disulfide.
Apply minced garlic or onion to the wart, or simply consume fresh garlic. If you don’t want to smell Italian food, try swallowing 3 cloves of garlic three times a day or chewing parsley to refresh your breath after garlic.
5. Hot water
Research has shown that immersing a wart in very hot water is beneficial because hot water smoothes the wart and kills the virus. Just make sure the water is not too hot to avoid scalding.
6. Vitamin C
Crush the vitamin C tablet and add a little water to make a thick paste. Apply the paste to the wart and bandage it. Vitamin C may be slightly tingling, which helps the wart to disappear faster.
7. Vitamin E
Open the vitamin E tablet or capsule, apply a little oil to the wart and bandage it with an adhesive bandage. Repeat this procedure three times a day. Be sure to remove your dressing at night to allow the affected area to breathe and start the next day with vitamin E oil.
8. Castor oil
The acids in castor oil are used effectively to remove warts. Castor oil is good for small, flat warts inside the arm. Apply castor oil to the wart with a cotton swab twice a day.
9. Carrots
Gently grate the carrots and add enough olive oil to make a paste. Apply the paste to the wart twice a day for two to three weeks, lasting about 30 minutes.
10. Lemon juice
Treat the wart with fresh lemon juice, then place finely chopped onions on top of the wart and hold for 30 minutes once a day. For best results, treatment should be continued for two to three months.
11. Aloe Vera
Aloe vera can also be a great solution against warts. Apply the leaf paste to the affected area with a cotton swab and tie with a bandage. Repeat this procedure every day until the wart disappears.
